How To Market Upscale House For Rent

Posted by Anonymous on 25 Points
How can I target upscale renters to match them up with a house? I need ideas on how to build awareness and attraction of the 100k and above crowd in Seattle.

Great idea. Thanks for your input! How many times per day and for how long would you run a radio spot?

I have to disagree with Ilan. Especially in a metro market like Seattle, where housing prices rose high during the bubble, renting makes sense for financially savvy, affluent people. I bet you'd find that a lot of 100k+ renters read financial/real estate blogs (try "Millionaire Mommy Next Door" or Piggington's -- both espouse the benefits of renting).

Also, I would still advertise in the usual outlets (Craigslist, etc.). In my area at least, there are plenty of nice houses for rent. But, you must get some really good photos of the place. Hire a photographer if you need to, and make sure the place is styled. Lots of good quality photographs with nice lighting make all the difference.
