Collision Repair Marketing

I am a new member and hoping I can get some help and some great ideas. My husband for the past 10 years has had a successful collision repair shop but with the economic down turn the business has really slowed down and unfortunately he is now having to layoff some employees. He has done very little advertising and only has a DRP with one company.
Can help with some ideas to get more DRP's and maybe a target market?

    The DRP's are certainly the first thing to develop. Contact the insurance co's directly and find out how you can be on their list. Leverage how you have helped one provider and you can help others as well.

    Turn a negative into a positve. With this economy, people can't buy a new car, so they've got to make the one they have last longer.

    I just met aguy who is starting independent inspections for cars. When you buy a new house you get an inspection, he's offering the same for cars.
