Collision Repair Marketing

I am a new member and hoping I can get some help and some great ideas. My husband for the past 10 years has had a successful collision repair shop but with the economic down turn the business has really slowed down and unfortunately he is now having to layoff some employees. He has done very little advertising and only has a DRP with one company.
Can help with some ideas to get more DRP's and maybe a target market?

    Are other collision repair shops similarly suffering in your area (i.e., it's a symptom of the recession where people are not spending $ to fix their car) or is it just your husband's business that's doing poorly (i.e., the competitors are busy with customers)?

    The right solution is based on identifying the problem, your target market, etc.
