Name The Business That Distibute Free Samples

Hi i am new boy to marketing and i despirately needed help! does any one know if there are companies that help give out free trial samples? we've all seen it, there would be this guy standing outside the mall handing out leaflets or new product samples.... Are there many companies in the world that does this for a living? is there a big demand for such a service? what may be a descriptive name for such a company? thanks a million, pat
