Well, that depend on lots of things. Do they drink wine? To find out, call your client's office, ask to speak to their PA (if they have one(, and ask them.

Why does it have to be wine? Wine's boring, and possibly offensive to someone (they might not drink at all! How embarrassing!).

Why not take them out to lunch? Or send them flowers. Or pizza. Or tickets to a ball game (and be sure to go with them!).

You're talking here about establishing (or re-establishing) a relationship. Make your mark. Be remembered for doing something different, something memorable.
