Hello there,

Can you kindly critique our catering/deli website? I have used some of your very helpful suggestions and have made some changes.

Please offer some suggestion on how we can better improve our website.

Thank you!

Well, it looks mostly like an online menu. The background looks like old wallpaper, and doesn't really fit the rest of the site.

I do find it interesting that McDonald's offices order YOUR food rather than their own! (I would too).

What are you trying to accomplish with the site? Just give information? Get actual orders?

Make your phone # much easier to see (larger font).

Some pictures to separate your categories of food (a picture of a salad, sub, food tray, etc.)

Your contact form has too much information on it, which means few people are likely to fill it out. I'd suggest removing it entirely, since your goal is to get people to call you to find out more about your mouth-watering food. While you're at it, I'd get rid of the counter and GoDaddy "powered by" (if possible). I'd add your contact information also at the footer of the page.

    Dear Jay & Jodi,

Thank you both for your great suggestion. I tried to post this message earlier - I don't know what happened to it!

Yes, Jay we did use the pictures of food per your suggestion and we love how they look, but we still need to size them correctly. Also we did remove the "contact form" as you suggested, along with the hit counter. It did look kind of sketchy.

Jodi, you're right - the backround "wallpaper" had to come down! Yes, we are simply trying to put our catering menu out there. Also, McDonald's sure does use our catering services for some of their breakfast and lunch catering for their Hamburger U seminars!

Thank you again very much, as your suggestions made a huge difference in our website presence. Much good luck to you Jay and Jodi.

    Sincerely,
    Dave S.
