Advertising Or Marcketing My Book

I am a new childrens book writer. I am the author of :The Adventures of the Muffin Family". I don't have much knowledge on how to market and advertise my book. I can use all the help I can get. Anyone have an information to share or can help me do this? I'd appreciate it!

    Appearances at bookstores, libraries, sr homes and schools should be easy to arrange.

    If you have not already, developing a website would be a worthwhile investment that would allow you to build a book club, keep parents informed of upcoming appearances and most important sell your book.

    You just missed a children's writers and illustrators conference (https://bookpassage.com/content.php?id=263). But I would suggest contacting the book store for suggestions on where else there may be workshops (especially in your area).

    Also, your approach will vary greatly depending if you have an ISBN or not. Are you planning to self-publish or are you looking for a publisher?

    As a minimum, start with your local independent bookstore and mothers' clubs to work out your presentation/marketing before trying to expand it regionally (or hire a pro to help you, such as here).

    Check out www.write4kids.com. John Bards provides loads of information, including a newsletter, that helps you write your book to maximize its marketability, and to market and publicize your book after the fact.

    I already have my book published. So I am trying to get someone to notice my childrens book. It does have the ISBN number. It is on Amazon. I published through www.outskirtspress.com And thanks to you all for the help. I will try all of you alls advice. I do wish that someone could do it for me since I am not good at this kind of stuff but I am willing to try to do all I can to see my book suceed!
