'insightful' Questions For Customer Behavior-ist?

Posted by Anonymous on 200 Points
Hi all,

I have a meeting tomorrow morning with a person who works considerably in the area of Customer Behaviors for the Energy & Manufacturing sector. I am currently reading up on some of these areas to at least have some insight. It would be great if I was also able to ask a couple of 'insightful' questions re. Customer Behaviors and perceptions.

Any ideas???

Thanks in advance.

What's the goal of your meeting? To apply knowledge from another field to yours? To garner insight about your customers? To network?

Key questions are generally: What are the key motivators? How do you know? What are unmet needs? Who are leaders in solving them in the industry? What are upcoming trends?

    Dear DaveTw,

Here are a few possible questions:

What are the best ways to increase perceptions of value?

Given the choice between practicality and problem solving, which message content do people respond to more in terms of sales? Features or benefits?

What tools or tips will generate the highest levels of customer confidence?

How do we show customers we are on their side when it comes to meeting their needs?

    END OF QUESTIONS

Perhaps these will spark additional questions you can own, or perhaps you can see ways that they could be adjust to better suit your needs. Either way, I hope they help.
