Analysis Of Online Behavior To Determine Cb

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hi!
We are enabling two way cable television in 30 cities in India and potentially have access to clickstream of subscribers. We have patented the concept of TV sites that are analog of Websites but are actually multimedia experiences (with a TV commerce capability) delivered on TV browsed using the TV RCU. The best part is that this is done without any investment on the part of cable TV network provider. We are trying to derive information that would be useful to advertisers and content products and media agencies. Can somebody help me to understand what profiling information would be most useful to these agencies? Is there a company observing online behavior of Indians and generating such profiling?

If you haven't already, take a look at Nielsen Media Research (https://en-us.nielsen.com/measurement). They collect data from TV viewers as well as other media. They are active in India as well (https://in.nielsen.com/site/index.shtml)

This concept has been live in the UK for several years already with SKY Interactive.

We can create specialised versions of our html pages (not too difficult to code). that will view in the subscribers TV.

Users can then purchase our content by hitting the red button on their remote as as they would on a web site with a credit card or paypal etc.

    https://www.skyinteractive.com/ (Developer Forum).

Sky may well have good stats and user feedback by now - I can put you in touch with the if you like.

    Good luck,

    Matthew
