Printing Inventor-picture Of 7ft Installed Mural

Posted by Anonymous on 25 Points
Hi Folks...
I got suggestions to post some pictures of our items in "context". Well here is one...a 7 foot Mona Lisa installed over a fireplace.

Again, thanks for everything. I really appreciate all of the input you guys have given. It has made a big difference

Looks great. Remember the Imagine Tile link I sent you? Well some of the pix on that site were not actual installations. Of course those with locals noted were. But photo guru's took room scenes and "dropped" the images into the floor, etc. So don't let the lack of installation pix hold you up.

I was working with another company and landed on this site and I thought of you. I know you do it different, but they display what they do very well. https://www.designtex.com/surface_imaging_Product.aspx?f=35626

If the link doesn't come thru, google designtex and to into surface imaging.

if I were a salesperson for your company, I would try to sell a local franchise of a large national chain. For example, many Marriott's have a picture of the company president in the hotel. If you can sell one, and maybe you can sell more.

It is not too hard to find directories of franchise organizations. Some of these may have an ideal application for your technology. After you have sold two or three of the franchisees, then you can approach the marketing department of the franchisor in hopes of becoming a preferred vendor.

Thanks Telemoxie...I am working on that very strategy as we speak! I may have to consult with you on a compelling selling strategy...since a lot of these hotels are so cash poor...and in grumpy moods when it comes to hearing my pitch.

Guys, I feel so lucky...we have been swamped for the last 1.5 months. I have not had a day off in a month!

You guys feel like the big brothers/sisters I needed in this area. I am not used to getting such helpful suggestions...I am usually the lone wolf trying to figure things out. I am just so suprised that such a smart group of people can be so supportive. This is a very special community here.

They are tight on budget-- but you may not be talking to the right person. The GM isn't the right person, but the head of design and construction at the corporate level. Same with restaurant design, etc etc. They may refer you to their architect/designer, but that'll be a warm call when you say "Joe from Big Hotel Chain told me to call".

    Ha...what endless cleverness!

    That will be easy!

Okay, I will build a big, fat list of corporate offices to call!

Let me tell you something I told my father this morning. My background is in the sciences...I have published, invented, trained my own supervisors...come up with paradigms that clean up the messy field of pathology...and taught it for many years to pre med students. I had a biotech. etc. Had my own coffeeouse, mini mall, etc.

Now, in my field, the elders eat their young. There is zero room for a talented scientist...ZERO. The successful scientists are sociopaths...not a joke here. I have conversed with 1000+ people in the field, including a couple Nobel Laurates

Even though we are in a crushing free fall in the economy ...the effort I put out for small success is
NOTHING compared to the effort I put out to succeed in the parasitic world of science. Even the art world...for which I have middle school training is FAR more receptive to my efforts than my scientific peers.

Doesn't really say a lot for the system, does it?

So that is why I keep reiterating the gratitude I have for the support you guys have given me. I am really shocked there are groups to really support a person out there.

Oh it can get ugly out there. As another scientist they envision you as a competitor. And if someone envisioned you as a competitor going after the same job-- again, it can get ugly.

Hate to say it, but as both of us in women in a mens world (my construction side) men say things to us they'd never say to another man. Even today. Cause two men would be in the alley "settling things". I think sometimes they say these things hoping we'd just cry-- instead of getting the job. Construction can be the bottom of the food chain. I had a competitor (when I made a point that got him off the job) throw his cell phone at me (not at me, but over my shoulder) in the meeting room of a major company-- and everyone in that room tunred their heads and "let it go". And another time a guy waiting for me at the exit door-- finger in my face, telling me I am taking food out of his family's mouth for being awarded a contract. I have plenty more stories to tell! But you get the point!

Thanks NuCO, but no worries. Living well is the best revenge -- and never let them see you sweat. I've given them my steely (Pittsburgh steel) green eyes, and walked around the corner knees knocking. I'm telling you, 30 years as a woman on the "road" - remember we were dinasours then- I have a book waiting to write. And I inherited my 1st biz from a women 40 years older than me. Imagine an "on the road" sales woman 40 plus years ago. I loved her stories.

Back on subject-- Mary-- another site to check out-- I'm working on floor and wall manufacturers for a client and thought you'd find this interesting. If it doesn't work, google Hakatai

    https://www.hakatai.com/Webpage.aspx?WebpageId=83

Your website is fine-- for the gift industry. But for where you want to go-- these examples show you where it needs updating!

    Wow you guys are fascinating!

I don't have any fear whatsoever (perhaps some cluelessness, but no fear LOL). I have just about seen it all when it comes to professional human depravity...but I am finding that being around depravity fatigues me BIGTIME...and sucks my ability to build an empire. It takes a tremendous amount of energy to continously do R&D, handle customers, and to present the company like Steve Jobs...and sociopaths in professional life literally suck the life of you.

I will consult with a good friend to help me with the website...I think I've hit my ceiling.

You guys are awesome. Really a pleasure to converse with. i am very much indebted....

PS...Remember House Speaker Jim Wright?...I will be meeting with him this week to do a family portrait for a big upcoming event...Jim Wright is a congressional legend in these parts...charming old devil, he is...
