Strong Marketing Speech Opening

Posted by bill.hall on 250 Points
I am looking for a strong opening for a webinar I am doing on turn-key marketing programs we have developed for our sales partners. The difference we are offering is we are using tried and true techniques and many of our pieces we have already tested for them and we are getting them printing group discounts too. Basically I need a strong opening for this marketing speech that will set the stage for these turn-key direct marketing programs that they can use to build their business.

Focus on the benefits to the audience members and get them involved by asking a question..

For example, if the following is true, you might say:

"Who here would like a guaranteed, endless stream of qualified, cashed-up prospects anxious to buy what you're selling, right here, right now?"

"OK, that's pretty much everyone, so stay glued to your seat, and listen up, because I'm not selling anything, I'm simply going to explain exactly how you can make that endless supply of prospects a reality, today, using..."

    Hope that helps.

I agree with Andy. Your job is to be informative first and foremost - with some take away points your clients can use, whether or not they choose to buy these particular turn-key projects.

If you seize this opportunity and do it well, participants will be asking YOU how they can get on board. "You can share information you've learned, but it doesn't mean that they'll know how to do it." What if you started with a simple yet impressive success scenario & testimonial: a brief case study participants can easily relate to, to grab their attention and make your point?

    Simple, do it old school.

Tell them what your going to tell them.
Tell them what you want to tell them
Tell them what you've just told them.

    It works.

    In otherwords:

    Opening -

Today I'm going o tell you all about XX and why it is the best thing in the market.

    Middle -

Here XX , explain the features but SELL the benefits.

    CLOSE -

So to remind you of what I have just explained.
    bullet
    bullet
    bullet

    Thank you.
    -------------------

That is the way to present anything, make sure that you tell them 3 times :-) Always 3 times, not 2 times or 4 times.

    Good luck.

    Matthew
