Looking For A Pay-per-sale Email Company

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
We are an online poker club that is legal to all U.S. Players. Players pay a $19.95 monthly fee to become members. Once they are members, they have access to more than 1000 cash games.

That is just a brief description of who we are. We are looking for affiliates, most notably people who have access to a large amounts of email accounts who are willing to be paid for sale. We are offering $20 for every player that they send who becomes a paying member.

Any help is truly appreciated

Have you thought about using social networks? It seems like this would be a good thing to promote through members of Myspace or Facebook who have large friend lists.

Thank you for the response. We do utilize FaceBook, MySpace and Twitter. We also are a member of an affiliate network. We are looking for as many ways to spread the word as we possible can. Email lists were suggested to us as a productive pay-per-sale method.

Have you listed with Commission Junction https://www.cj.com/ ?

That's one place where potential affiliates go looking for opportunities. So as an Advertiser you can meet Publishers (in CJ parlance)

There are so very, very many affiliate networks. I assume you've shopped around. Personally I recommend sticking to one network that you like and letting them wrangle in the emailers.

If you're happy with the traffic quality and are looking to increase volume I'd focus on the following:

Keep refreshing your creatives. Think of them as like fashion statements that change with seasons. It makes the end user feel more confident they're dealing with a solid company

Keep tweaking your copy. You never know what minor changes will make the big difference.

I'd try tying in some kind of give away. Off the top of my head I might say..."sign up in the next 15 minutes and enter for a chance to get *free Omaha Steaks" Maybe the rule is they have to bet "x" amount of money and then you'll send them Omaha Steaks.

If none of those appeal to you...try a smaller lead gen form at a lower payout. Emailers much prefer distributing lead gen offers than ones that require a credit card. You'll have to balance the right amount of info for the right payout. Just test out two or three drops. Set aside about 2 to 5K for testing.

    I hope that helps.

Thank you. I really appreciate your advice and I will definitely use it. I found a good affiliate network that we are going to move forward with. However, I am talking about something else. Something in addition to the affiliate network.

I have heard about, yet cannot seem to find, companies that have access to millions of "opt-in" emails. They are said to work like affiliates as they would send emails to the customers who have opted in and then get paid on whmever they convert. Does anybody know how I can find them?

    Thank you again

The question has closed, but you need an answer to your last post.

The answer is - there isn't one. If someone had a list of a million opt-in e-mails and they were selling it, they would have to be breaching trust with those opt-ins.

They might even be breaking the law in some jurisdictions.

Unless they are extremely low value addresses and people have opted in with them knowing they would be getting a whole slew of advertising e-mails. Doesn't seem likely, does it?
