I am a beginning marketer who is doing some free consulting for a friend who is a financial advisor. I know from his current customers that his base target market is age 20 to 55 years old. He is focusing on lower level assets of $10k to $100k, which is great because generally these clients get ignored by competitors. We live in Northern California. I'm trying to find where we can get more detailed free or low cost demographic and psychographic info to further segment and target new prospects. Any ideas?
p.s. Any thoughts on finding marketing jobs for budding but knowledgable marketers who don't finish their marketing degrees until early 2010?
Thanks,
Frankie
