Healthcare Advertising And Pr

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
I am carrying an awareness campaign for our medical center. It will include outdoor advertising ( a form of small signs called advists). Besides that I am carrying a campaign of a PR that involves going to 15 schools to raise awareness for kids and their mothers. Any suggestions? Many thanks

It will engage your audience, enhance your credibility, and increase your memorability if you offer the mothers something they can use. Either something important and very useful (e.g. flu shots, as CVS and Walgreen's are doing in their "Minute Clinics"), or something that they will use over and over again (such as branded bottles of hand sanitizer or branded sanitizing wipes).

Working in healthcare myself, I find that most hospitals market aggressively what they do better than any other in the area or what they have (equipment/specialists/etc) that competing centers do not. Are you known for your women's health center, have an outstanding pediatric specialist on staff or do you have a child friendly MR imaging unit? Do you have exam hours that accomodate working women's schedules such as evenings and Saturdays? Pick the top 3-5 that your audiece will find important to them and what sets you apart from your competition and make that the theme of your campaign.
