Please check out any book or website on marketing research. No disrespect, but you have to ask a much more specific question to unlock the wisdom of this Forum. Your current question belongs in the 'Student' category.

This is one of those questions that is more appropriately answered by doing a "how to" Google search (1) about the process of marketing research (e.g., search for: process: marketing market research) or (2) about writing a marketing plan (e.g., search for: steps for developing a marketing plan).

The reason we suggest you check search engines is because any decent answer to your question would be too long for this venue.

Your task is to decide which of the search results is the most accurate and useful to you (other search engines include Bing, Yahoo!, Wikipedia).
