A local specilized handy work company would like to target homes before they were perchused and moved In. Is there a way to it?

    You could go through realtors or home inspectors, both of whom know which houses are going to be transferred/sold in advance of the actual sale date. Both should also know the contact information for the prospective buyer. Attorneys might also be appropriate referrers for you ... depending on the customs and laws in whatever country you're targeting.

    Of course, there might have to be something in it for them to share this information with you.

    If it's handyman/contractor work - you'll be better off with older homes as new ones likely don't need as much done to them! Plus, I doubt any builders are looking to hire out more construction work to begin with - they have all the help they need...

    You might try just contacting the owners of homes listed for sale (whether a bank/financial institution or direct owners) to propose doing some work to enhance the marketability of the homes. Real estate listings, etc. will provide all those!
