Companies In Need Of New Marketing Strategies

Hello!

I am a returning college student and am taking my first marketing class. Like most marketing students, I need to develop a new marketing plan for a company of my choice. The catch is that it needs to be a company in need of new marketing strategies. IE: Firestone tires after their recall.

I was curious to see your thoughts on interesting companies.

    Well, just off the top of my head... I assume you can use companies that already fixed their mess?

    Past:

    Levi Jeans. They tried to sell their jeans exclusively online and did not do very well. They had to allow the retail stores to sell the jeans too in order to increase sales. The whole thing cost them several million dollars.

    Coca-Cola's marketing ploy to recover from New Coke by creating Coca-Cola Classic.

    Present:

    The United States government. Obvious reasons.

    Carl's Jr. Hamburgers

    Krispy Kreme
