Sports Related Tradeshow Booth Game

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I'm looking for ideas for a trade show booth that also ties into my company's current advertising campaign. The campaign concept revolves around the idea of leveling the playing field. I'm looking for any fun, creative, attention grabbing ideas, games, or giveaways that relate to sports (football preferably). The trade show event will be b2b, so everything needs to be kept professional.

First, I question- -do you want to level the playing field- or give someone the advantage, as in home field advantage?

I originally thought play in the background some old football footage, but the NFL will nail you for some big $.
    You could do cheerleader footage.
Hire a local ex player to do autographs? (college or pro)

This game may be something of interest: https://www.vtreellc.com/
It's designed for people with "special needs" and therefore it helps level the playing field for players. Perhaps a booth contest?

Football tickets, Madden's NFL video games, autographed footballs, etc. make great premiums. If budgets are tight, have just a few of them as prizes for dropping off a business card to build your sales lead list.

If you want to go premium and REALLY drive some booth traffic, consider a grand prize drawing for a Super Bowl ticket/party/travel package (many companies sell these) - make sure you promote it then (but be careful about how you reference the game's name if you're not an official sponsor!).

    Have fun!

Try making your booth interactive. Put up an inflatable goal post (something like this https://teamworld.logomall.com/ProductDetail/ProductDetail.aspx?id=7599891&...) and have everyone who stops by your both try to score a field goal. You could have them kick an inflatable ball (if you have room) or just throw it through. If they score a goal, they get a prize. There are TONS of promotional products with football designs that you can have your logo printed on; pens, magnets, memo pads, massagers, mugs/pint glasses/water bottles, etc. Here are a few that I like:
    Pen: https://teamworld.logomall.com/ProductDetail/ProductDetail.aspx?id=7190617&...
    Memo Pad: https://teamworld.logomall.com/ProductDetail/ProductDetail.aspx?id=7497336&...
    Massager: https://teamworld.logomall.com/ProductDetail/ProductDetail.aspx?id=5955648&...
    Light: https://teamworld.logomall.com/ProductDetail/ProductDetail.aspx?id=7306948&...

I also think holding a drawing for the people who give you a business card to enter is a great way to generate leads. If you cannot fit something like Superbowl tickets into your budget, smaller items can still prove to be effective incentives. Consider something like this football shaped grill:

There is nothing better than to have attendees of a tradeshow scrambling to stop by your booth to get their hands on the items you're giving away.  Depending on your budget, there are a variety of options you could consider for this event and tie-in to your theme.  More traditional options to consider could be mini football-themed stress relievers (ball, helmet, team player) or plastic footballs.  Some more unique options include drawstring bags made from football jersey material or desk accessories such as a mousepad or magnet that offer full color imprinting capabilities to incorporate a football field or other graphics into the design.  Remember that the secondary goal of promotional items is to keep your company top-of-mind after the attendee leaves your both - so selecting an item that would be used often is also key. Have fun - and feel free to contact us for additional suggestions, samples or price quotes!
