In-house Email Campaign Mgmt Software

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hello, I am a new member and I need some help. I am looking for an in-house email software solution for our department. The current CRM solution we have does not offer a full campaign management program that we need as we grow. Let me start off by saying that changing the current CRM is not an option. Other dept's rely on it and it will stay. So we opt to get a new email campaign mgmt software BUT it has to be an in-house database intergration software solution so we can intergrate the data from the CRM (SQL, Excel, etc.).
I found Arial Software Campaign Enterprise and it looks to be what we need but I was wondering if anyone know of any other proprietary in-house email campaigns software solution to compare. My research seems to land me with many web-based, hosted services and that is not what we want.
We will not upload our in-house data to a hosted service.
We have our own servers and bandwidth.

Thanks for your help.

We are in the US. Again, we want an out of the box software solution that we can install on our PC's and run it ourselves. We have our IT dept that can integrate it to the servers and database. We do not want to pay subcription fees, nor pay per volume. We will purchase the software and pay for it once. It has to give us unlimited use. No hosting with any other providers.

We will create and send enewsletters to our customers and prospects, as well as email blast for events and invitations to events.

Please check out Arial Software Campaign Enterprise Fusion & Array. This is the closest thing to what we are looking for unless there is something else to compare it to.

Thanks for your responses so far.

Commence CRM includes functionality for both marketing campaigns and email marketing. The product is available as a web based CRM solution or can be purchased and run as a desktop or on-premises solution. You can learn more about the product at https://www.commence.com

Thank you all for your responses.

I have checked all of the recommended software solutions and find that Communigator is the closest most possible solution that we are looking for.

The other solutions are good however they were not completely suited for our needs. They all had a few of the features that we are looking for but for the most part they were geared towards a CRM or Project Management Solutions.

Again thank you all for your help, suggestions, and recommendations. I will pass along all the information I gathered to my team for further analysis.

    Have a great weekend!

I was wondering why you would not consider Software as a Service (SaaS) email marketing solution?

The reason I ask if that the the email service is operated through a web browser but all the heavy lifting is done by the email marketing services' servers, internet connections, etc.

Services like this are optimized for sending out email.

THere are many products in the market but it all depends on how far you want go in terms of cusatomisation of emails and automation of campaigns + how much you are willing to spend.

EMail marketer is a pretty simple but good toiol for aeound $299 but Neoalne for instance will give you everything you need for $100,000 of there abouts.

You need forst to define your budget and exactly what features you need or would like to have and then approach the market from there.

Many email tools prefer to offer a hosted solution such as Listrak or Emailvision but this gets very very expensive to use because you pay per email sent so I agree with your in house strategy.

Just define first the size of your email requirement - 1,000,000 per month (small) or 50,000,000 per month (medium large).

You can from there calculate your ROI on email activitiesa nd decide how much you can afford to spend on an email tool.

Almost any reasomnable tool should be able tyo talk to your exisitng Db without too much trouble either by API or with simple file transfers (import / Export ).

Feel free to get in touch if you need help with conmfiguration of IP addresses, deliverability issues etc.

    Good luck,

    Matthew

Stand-alone or web-based? Both are good. For stand-alone I use Atomic Email Studio, and the web-based one is Unisender.com - for corporate needs I'd advise to use Unisender.
