Virtual Gift Business!

Hi,

Have been missing for more than 6 month. Am back again now.

I have a question here.

As everyone notice that virtual gift is getting more and more popular now days.

Can i know:

- Is there any other way to promote the VG?
- What is the most popular gift where people will buy?
- what i need to think if i want to start a VG business?

I am workin in a social networking company. We plan to have more these feature.

Dear Luis,

I would like to concentrate on answering one part of your question - what do you need to think of before starting a VG business?

My opinion is that the virtual gifting market is all about very low priced items coupled with massive volume. That is the only way it can be built into a sustainable business.

Since you already are working in a social networking environment, the best idea would be to test different gift types on the existing audience you have. Let them gift others certain gifts for free. By seeing which gifts are more popular you will get a better idea of what your community wants.

Thanks Clive Fernandes. I have tested this method before and what i found out was, most of my users are more to gifting with expression as in love, kiss, hugs, etc..

What i can said is, dating stuff is the best for time being and also of course the price of each of the gifts.
