Finished Land Suited For Franchise...what Next?

Posted by Anonymous on 500 Points
We have 2 available land locations, finished land, ready to be sold to a franchise, however, does anyone know of a website where Franchise owners look to find land? Or should we solicit individual franchises? Any insight would help. Dollar General and Hess Gas Station located between the 2 lots. Thanks for your help!

Phil is right. Franchises have several full time people on board who's sole job is to evaluate sites. They can't sell a franchise without a location. I worked with two that had a waiting list of franchisees ready to close, but couldn't because they didn't have a location. If you don't want to get on the phone and do the dialing, hire a realtor that will.

Over the years I have seen such listings in various, regional real estate trade journals (newspaper type). Of course, couldn't locate one now that a request is in.

    Consider checking out www.entrepeneur.com/franchise 500; www.gaebler.com/Franchise-Directory. htm

Also, list your available sites your city, state and/or county economic development departments; they can be extraordinary helpful in getting leads!
