Know-How Exchange : Advertising/PR

I am a broker that specializes in full color printing & personalized promotional items for businesses, basically for trade shows. (Mugs, Pens, Shirts, etc.) I would like to expand into the retail market with an item that could be sold at pet stores, possibly a coffee mug. I would like to have some clever wording on it that would make it attractive to the end consumer. It would not be personalized with the store's information, so that the one design could be sold at multiple locations. Also would probably have some kind of an animal graphic on it, possibly a dog's paw print that wraps around. The saying should be clever and appeal to both male and female animal lovers that feel that their pets are as important as their children. The coffee mug is just a first idea. I have many other products that could be personalized but I am stuck on coming up with the right copy to make this a saleable item.
