How To Create Launch Buzz For Links.com

Hi everyone,

I just joined the forum. I am about to launch a new website on Links.com and would like to create buzz for the site on the day of launch. It is a very simple site composed of clicking and linking, but I think that the 18+ crowd will like it and it will be easy to monetize if it gains traction.

I have been looking to hire some to create a short-term PR campaign that will draw eyeballs to the site for proof-of-concept, but can't seem to locate the right person. Can someone make a recommendation of how I might search and find such a person.

    Hi Karen,

    Thanks for the link. I am familiar with most of the suggested activities on the list. I am in contact with some national and local media which certainly can help create some buzz but I was hoping to find someone who already has the contacts and networks in place that can create immediate short-term buzz. I am looking for lots of traffic on the first day of launch in order to evaluate the ability of the new site to create sticky traffic.
