Promo Idea For A Radio Station St.val Flowers

I have a family run flowershop. Trying to improve on advertising & hopefully boost up sales. I approached a radio station & offered free rose bouquets during Valentine for their listeners. They are interested & told me to come up with a proposal. Any ideas??? I only have this wknd. HELP!!!

    First decide how many flowers you are going to give away. Is this going to be a week promo, one day, or? Are you going to give them away all day, just the morning show, morning and eve commute?

    Then of course the goal is to create sales not just give away bouquets. So after they award the bouquet of the hour (whatever) to the 1st caller (whatever), they say "sorry you weren't the winner but Flower Shop is giving all listeners who use the WXYZ station code 10% off." Or have a special WXYZ arrangement, that would cost $100 elsewhere, to our listeners only ??

    might have the station work the call-ins around a trivia quiz. Trivia could tie in to stuff that has to do with flowers/plants ... a little taste of spring ... or around romance and valentines stuff.

    As CarolBlaha said, be sure you decide how much you want to give away and then extend a special offer for a LIMITED TIME ONLY to the listeners to help increase future business. Buy 1 get 1; a discount, free delivery ... that sort of thing.

    How about something that would encourage somebody to be twice as nice? Buy an arrangement for your wife or girlfriend and get one free for your mom/daughter/boss, whomever. (Obviously there has to be limitations and it would be the lesser priced item that would be free.) Now you could have fun with it - if you're on a station that is "in to" that type of thing - with a play on wife and girlfriend, etc.

    same basis applies. keep whatever format going, for consistency. just change out the theme. good luck!
