Promos For Valentines Day

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
WE ARE A NEW COCKTAIL BAR THAT WANTS TO MAKE A MASSIVE IMPACT ON THE LOCAL AREA FOR VALENTINES. OUR MARKET IS 21-35 YRS OLD, COUPLES AND YOUNG PROFESSIONALS. I AM LOOKING FOR IDEAS FOR PROMOTIONS AND HOW TO ADVERTISE FOR THIS OCCASION ON A SMALL BUDGET. I WAS THINKING OF CHAMPAGNE COCKTAILS PROMOS, FREE ROSE WITH EVERY BOTTLE OF CHAMPAGNE, CANAPÉS WITH TABLE SERVICE BUT WASN'T SURE IF I WAS ON THE RIGHT PATH. ANY IDEAS WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED THANK YOU.

All of your suggestions aren't new/unusual. How about a Twitter Drink of the Hour for Valentine's Day? Each hour, you'll tweet the drink special (deeply discounted to truly encourage visits). This'll help with the social media connection to your demographic.

Another idea - have a limo drive around on valentines day (or the day before) and hand out VIP invites to your bar. It'll brand your location as a bit "special".

I’ve had two incredible Valentine’s Day experiences in the recent past. The first happened on my first date with my now husband. Our waitress simply gave us a single truffle and me a flower. Simple and very effective. It really made our night. The second was at another restaurant where they ended our meal by giving us a tin filled with gummy candies. We enjoyed the candy and kept the promotional tin for a long time after. The simple tin was a great reminder of a fun and romantic evening. Since I’m in exactly the age group you’re targeting, I’m speaking from both my personal experience as well as my experience in the promotional products (https://www.pinnaclepromotions.com/) industry. A small gesture like candies or a flower can keep your bar fresh on the minds of your Valentine’s patrons for a long time; bringing your bar future business and loyal customers. Spread details of your event via word of mouth, emails or direct mail to your customers or by using local city-centered websites. These can be very effective ways to promote your event to your intended demographic.

    Good Luck!
