    Dear lynleventhorpe,

With the best will in the world you are not going to get an e-mail ad from this forum for 25 points.

Additionally, you do not need "catchy" because Catchy is Not a Selling Strategy™.

    You need relevance and significance.

You need to align your selling proposition with the strongest urges and compulsions of your target audience.

You also need to avoid too much of a connection with the World Cup (use of logos etc.) because of copyright controls, and yes, FIFA take this kind of thing seriously and they DO take legal action if they think it's warranted.

    I hope this helps.

    Dear Gary,

if convenient please explain what will get a good response.

    FIFA issue understood.

Aim is to use the fact that the leisure industry is gearing up for a busy time by upgrading facilities and services. We will take advantage of this trend one way or another.

SA = hot climate; there are many swimming pool services out there, all the ads are similar.

Looking for a different angle on B2B ad aimed at lodges and hotels.

    Thanks, Lyn

    Dear Gary,

Hmm, seems my ignorance regarding how this site operates is hindering my chances of getting the advice I was looking for.

    Thanks for the advice, Lyn

    Consider:

Get Ready to Catch the Wave
XYZ can help make your pool/reservoir sparkle

    Or something to that effect!

That's hilarious Rich! Love the idea of pitching a totally unexpected image and following up with product link. As the lodges are all in the African bush would love to come up with something that uses the big five, maybe even as a series of mailers that kind of tell a story? Ideas/opinions anyone?

Great by-line jag. Any ideas about what kind of image might support it?
