Cool On Air Radio Promotions

I work for a radio station in Sri Lanka, need some ideas for some really cool out of the box on air promotions. all ideas welcome

    What is your listener demographic?
    What type of radio station?
    What type of budget?
    Are you hoping to simply increase # of listeners for one show or the entire station?

    Dear yasi716850,

    What are you promoting? To whom? When? Why should they care? What's in it for them?

    Forget being cool (or hip, or anything else that's at all "catchy), focus on being relevant and on being significant. If you can't be either of these things it won't matter how cool you are, no one will listen.
