Refreshed Tagline For Community Hospital

Posted by Anonymous on 500 Points
I work in software marketing and in my spare time, I'm an MBA student currently working on a project for a class in healthcare marketing. My team is creating a marketing plan for a rural community hospital. It has good market share in the actual town it's located in but wants to position itself more strongly in the entire county that it serves. One of the core values and strengths that drive the experience the hospital strives to deliver is quality care provided by people you know. It's tagline is currently "We treat you like family" which captures the community aspect but doesn't speak to the excellence of care that the hospital delivers.

I'm looking for phrases and keywords beyond the obvious and trite that help convey that this hospital delivers excellent care and the staff are local people who know you and care about you as a person and patient.

Our class meets tonight so time is of the essence!

Thanks!

I'm coming to a different conclusion than you are. I think "we treat you like family" speaks more about care than community. I would hope you'd treat family in a more caring way than strangers.

However, it doesn't speak about community. Families are often scattered everywhere. We still lovingly care for each other, but we are hundreds, in not thousands apart.

World-class care right here at home
    World-class care in your neighborhood
World-class care right where you need it
World-class care is just steps away
    Delivering world-class care locally
Our local doctors deliver world-class care

I wouldn't consider this post "homework", which is not what do. Yes, he's a student, but this is an actual project. And it's not like typical student questions where it's clearly homework. People ask these kind of questions about taglines all the time. I wouldn't rule this against our TOS cause it just happens to come from someone with an actual project that just happens to be in school.

To clarify, we've written a formal 30 page directional document and now we're just tightening it up. The homework is done :-).

Just looking for some fresh insights that we may have overlooked...I did use the phrase "keywords" which I hoped would indicate I was looking for ideas and directions, not necessarily a tagline in a can.

I've been doing projects like this in the real world for more than a decade, just not for healthcare, hence, my request.

    Thanks.

Rather than say "excellent care", does the hospital have any 3rd party metrics that prove it (such as: https://www.hospitalcompare.hhs.gov/Hospital/Search/Welcome.asp or even www.yelp.com)? Or, is there another specialty service that the hospital provides/excels at?

The reason you're having trouble coming up with something that's not trite is because without specifics, that's all that's left. It's assumed that hospitals provide caring and excellent service (although not all do all the time). Tell us what makes the hospital unique in the area.
