Products/donations Request Letter?

Hey everyone,

First, thanks for clicking on the question, it's appreciated.

With that being said, I’m looking for someone to help me find/do a donations/products request letter.

I'm about to do an intimate apparel event, and I’ll be giving some gift bags. The products could be from sex toys to candles, to body products, to chocolate etc...You get the idea.

Any help would be great.

    You need to start at the beginning - why should a company donate their products/services to your event? What's in it for them? Who will be attending your event? How many people? Located where? Why will they be attending? Beside placing their products/services, and perhaps a "thank you" mention, what other exposure will they get? Will this be a one-time event or a recurring event? What is YOUR part in the event - how will you be making money?

    Hey guys,

    Thanks for your answers. Here's what comes with it. And it's more than one event.

    • You’re company name/collection and logo will be on all printed materials
    • You’re company name and logo will be on the projector the day of the event.
    • If you have a banner, it will be displayed.
    • Your business cards will be in the gift bags.
    • You’re company name and logo will be on the venue, photographer and others websites.
    • 250 people will be attending the event(NY fashion week photographer, actors, writers, singers, lawyers, doctors, people in the fashion/beauty industry, the media and so much more)

    A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Susan G. Kormen Breast Cancer Foundation.

    I'm just trying to find a sample or template letter that could fit what i'm doing and customize it to maek my own.
