Why don't you wait until next week to think about the location?

What is the message you're trying to convey? Do you have a script or a creative brief of some kind? Or are you just looking for irrelevant places to put the model when they snap the shutter?

There isn't much to shoot when it comes to Leeds. Maybe send your model to Portugal along with a plane full of reporters.

Guys we must take pictures at the airport and message we are trying to convey is to promote awareness of the new routes on a national basis

OK. So I was sarcastic, and I'm sorry. The message is obviously that creative tasks can't be held to a tight timetable. More lead-time would give us more opportunity to ask questions, think about options, and ... well, be creative for you. You also preclude solutions that might take a little longer to execute.

But maybe YOU didn't have any additional notice either, so the lecture is irrelevant. Let's just get on with the project.

Do you suppose you could get the mayors (or some other notable local celebrities) from your destination cities to show up at YOUR airport that day to explain to the press why it's such a big deal to have direct service to their cities? They might be able to bring some gifts/props to make their point, and your mayor (or the model) could accept them and interact at the airport.

That's the best I can do right now. If anything else occurs to me, I'll be back.

Can you get access to a 3D Video Camera? Why not do the photo shoot in both places, but show the completed video in Ireland (in 3D)? The message? The next best thing to being there (why not see for yourself what the destinations offer?)!

Is the idea to support the airlines and promote the destinations, or to brag about what a great airport you have because it now serves more cities (and perhaps steal market share from other airports)?

What's the objective? WHY do you want more awareness of these destinations?

With UK papers and UK punters fleshy shots will often get you the page 3 coverage and cries of "Phwoar" at the mid-morning tea break.

Snap a lovely leggy model in a bikini draped across the flight deck of an airliner - or maybe sunning herself in the engine inlet cowl of a large jet - and make up some story about how she couldn't wait to get to Portugal before changing into her togs.

For the Leeds destination it's a bit tougher. What has Leeds to offer? Fish and Chips, Yorkshire pudding, mushy peas and Tadcaster Ales? Perhaps a photo of a couple of Bill Tidy-type characters sitting in their aircraft seats eating Fish and Chips out of the Leeds newspaper, drinking a frothy pint of Sam Smiths Stingo...

how about you have the model looking out onto the tarmac through the airport windows and on one side she sees a double decker bus (red with British flag on side) in the loading zone and on the other side a boat with the Portuguese flag.

Maybe the model is holding two suitcases, one for each country. just a thought.
