Need Some Gud Ideas

Dear Friends,
We are in the banking business for HNI clients. I have just moved in to new catchments area.D'nt have fair idea of the catchment area.As we are servicing only the HNI clientèle can someone guide me as to what type of marketing activities to can we take up to build on our visibility and generate the database of the desired clientèle.

    First you need to get to know some of the target audience in your new area. You can't just start blasting your message to them and expect them to care about what you have to say.

    Why don't you develop a simple discussion guide and see if you can get a dozen people in your target audience to agree to an individual and confidential 30-minute interview? Ask them each the high-gain questions (from your discussion guide) and listen carefully to what they have to say. Take detailed notes, and do NOT try to sell them on anything, or convince them of anything, or even promote your company. Just ask and listen and take notes.

    After you've done this at least a dozen times, step back and analyze your notes. The answer to your question will be surprisingly evident.

    Also, what is your competition doing? How well is it working for them? Before you moved in, how/why were people deciding on which banking business to choose? How well do you compare on these points to your competition?

    mgoodman and Jay are right. We need at least the barest and base elements: Who, What, Where, Why, How much etc before a stab can be taken to help you on this one.
