How Do I Promote An Email Address Tool?

We have created the worlds largest database of email address formats and patterns -

Used by sales and marketing professionals to avoid wasting time finding the contact information of their suspects and prospects online. Problem is its an entirely unique product in a market where all the keywords are highly competitive (e.g. "find business contact information") - just wondering if anyone has any good ideas on how to promote this to our target audience of sales people selling to large enterprises?

    Hi Jeff

    Two questions: Is this legal and is it acceptable?

    I remember asking if we could use an email finding tool back in the early 2000's and being told by my talented, pony tailed, “SQL head” of a technical director that he would resign and blow up our servers if I did! I listened, and his arguments for the greater good were cogent - I'm a Christian so if something is wrong or immoral in execution, rather than by intent, I still want no part in it.

    Surely the email addresses thus garnered are simply harvested and are thus interdicted by Can / Spam in the USA and the Data protection Act over here?

    As our very own great train robbers once might have said, Legality or Morality apart, it was a great idea. Pity we got caught!

    Oh - tip number one for marketing your service: Don't offer 25 points for the most difficult of questions. Some of our lot are like Naomi Campbell and won't get out of bed for less than $10,000 a day or 250 points at least!

    Why not approach Jigsaw.com with your tool? It might be something they'd be interested in.
