"Baby Boomers" is such a broad audience definition as to be almost meaningless. Can you narrow it somewhat? What geographic location? What product/category/industry? (Healthcare would be considerably different than automobiles, for example.) What psychographic?

The problem is unsolvable if we're just talking about some unspecified product to all baby boomers. Baby boomers in China are different from baby boomers in Australia, etc. And those who are still working are different than those who are retired (and living on a fixed income). Etc. Etc.

Read 'Pig and the Python" and 'Boom, Bust, and Echo' by David K Foote. You will learn more about the theory behind the Baby Boom cohort, their mindset, and how they have driven everything from Cars, fashion, music, etc.

I know you will learn more from these books to understand and complete your assignment.
