How Should I Communicate This Message To Visitors

Posted by Tryswitch on 250 Points
Hi

I am promoting a website that incentivises users to buy products or sign up to services plus refer a few of their friends to do the same.

In return, they are rewarded with products they want that can cost anything at all.

How should I write the content so I can easily pass the message to my website visitors without it sounding like a Scam or too good to be true e.t.c

Here is a sample page I have put up to promote

[inactive link removed]

1. Did the page pass the message?
2. Does it look like one of those scam related things at first view?

Can anyone suggest the best way to put this out?

My ad has been refused by many advertisers maybe because they think am up to something illegal

3. What kind of message am I giving out here?
4. Any suggestion of the best way and medium to promote this?

Thank You Very Much for Your Help, Suggestions, Ideas.

My quick reaction: It sounds like a scam.

Forget the specific words. The reason it sounds like a scam is that you are promising to give people something with a value higher than what they're going to spend. That is what makes this suspect.

Even if the money mechanics work (because of the value of the referrals), it still SOUNDS like a scam.

Until you can fix the offer (so it is more believable), I think you're just putting more lipstick on the pig. Even the domain name smacks of "too good to be true."

    Hello Aniketnik

Thank you for taking out time to go through the website to read, analyse and write down this detailed comment.

    Thank you very very much!

Again everyone seem to agree with me that something is missing but can you point me in the right direction?

    Thanks

It looks like a scam because it's promising to give more than you get. When you dig deeper, you're setting up a Multilevel Marketing (MLM) pyramid - where the people at the top get stuff and others need to convince more people to signup so they can win.

To fix the offer, show exactly how it works by walking through a real-world example.

Fixing the offer will require more than a quick hit. This is a project if ever there was one. So ...

    1. Post a project in the "Hire an Expert" section of this website (see link in the column at the right of this page); or

    2. Browse through the profiles of the top experts in the MarketingProfs Know-How Exchange and see if you find anyone who seems to be right for your project. If you do, you can send them an off-line email message and see if they are interested/available.

Be prepared to pay a reasonable fee, because nobody is going to spend the kind of time your project will require and not expect to get paid for it.
