Name Needed For High-end Graphic Design Business

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I am in need of a name for my graphic design business. I have been designing for 10 years and target higher-end businesses and provide exclusive branding (logos), custom collateral design, blog design, and will begin web designing as well.

I need something catchy, modern, professional and memorable. I do NOT want cheesy, overdone names such as "DesignsRUs" or the like.

I need this soon, so I truly appreciate any input!

So let's start with the name of your company. What is it? How well does it communicate what you do and/or what benefit you provide to your target audience? What does the tagline have to accomplish that the name doesn't?

Then let's see if we can be more specific about your target audience. Where are they? Local, regional or national/international? When you say "high-end," does that mean you only design for marketers targeting upscale markets, or does it mean your fees are too high for smaller businesses?

Finally, what is it you're trying to communicate to your target audience? What unique and important benefit do you provide that makes you the best choice for them?

If you can give us this information, we can probably come up with some good ideas for your tagline.

P.S. What's the rush? Are you not planning to be in business next month?

mgoodman, in response to your post...

"What does the tagline have to accomplish that the name doesn't?"
I am not asking for a tagline, simply a business name suggestion.

"Where are they? Local, regional or national/international?"
All of the above. They span all over the US and abroad.

"When you say "high-end," does that mean you only design for marketers targeting upscale markets, or does it mean your fees are too high for smaller businesses?"
A little of both. My fees are set within the industry standard, but not excessive. They may be considered a bit higher for those with smaller, start-up businesses on limited budgets.

"Finally, what is it you're trying to communicate to your target audience?"
As stated in my original post, I want something clean (representative of my work), modern (again, that's the general style of design I offer), professional (self-explanatory).

"What unique and important benefit do you provide that makes you the best choice for them?"
The work I offer, as a whole, is exclusive, unique and experienced. All projects are well thought out, not rushed. They get what they pay for, and then-some.

"P.S. What's the rush? Are you not planning to be in business next month?"
That was a bit unnecessary. I have goals and personal deadlines to meet.
