You need to get out there and pound the pavement. Get it into a couple stores and leverage the success. You can also take to to multiple store chains. Think of the people that know first when a store is coming in the area-- the property management company, the restaurant supply co. Ask for referrals.

Google AdWords is an budget friendly, highly targeted, controllable way to achieve your goal.

I don't recommend going it alone if you're on a tight budget - poor account mistakes can just waste money.

Call for more information and other options.

You definitely need to get out there and knock down some doors. In terms on BTL marketing though this is a pretty simple formulae; track down the media serving those companies you are targeting (print and e newsletters). Prep an article on your company opening (this may not get much run if you don't have a profile yet in your sector but see how you travel). Next send them an article about how your system works and how it is differentiated from other systems on the market. Lastly start getting some testimonial case studies out (after you've made some sales). Then more what-is articles which focus on different aspects of your system to meet certain specific needs - push these to media serving that sub sector. Call the journalists & editors of this media, let them know you are emailing the article out, find out about their features and so on.

This doesn't sound like rocket science, basic PR. However please consider that a professional PR will get these articles much further - they know how to put the articles together, know how to gear them to print or electronic media, know the editors and journos and have the relationship to get them into print. I understand you have little money so track down a public relations specialist serving your b2b sector (you'd be able to find them right here on MarketingProfs) and just talk to them about what you want to achieve and your straightened budget - I am sure they'll let you know what they can do within what you are able to spend.

Also - and this is very inexpensive - after you have the articles developed put them into one page flyers. Those types of sales tools are gold.

Think of it this way. While you don't have money to spend marketing this, there are things you have at your fingertips that you aren't maximizing.

You pay for your phone, so make some phone calls. You pay for your car and gas, and drive past several potential clients each day-- so drop in and talk to them.
