Purpose: a medium to download a learning software program
for college students for qualitative subjects.
My thought is:
a short and high quality video would help explain or get an idea across more effectively, however, a short and average video would not help.
My website used to have one, which I wasn't too happy with, but I put it there, bad decision. Now removed, and as a side benefit, the home page loading is now super fast.
To share:
There's a theory of 3 minutes regarding software:
3 minutes prior to download:
goals to achieve,
persuade target customer to download;
prepare them after download (instructions on installation);
prepare them to be able to use immediately (quick getting started doc)
3 minutes after installation:
able to use it;
like the "feel and look";
able to see benefits quickly.
My specific request:
Do you have a son or daughter or neighbor who's going to start college this fall? If so, ask him/her to try out Knowledge NoteBook and play with it for at least 3 hours before providing feedback.
Thanks as always.
