I am an Office Manager for a very busy Chiropractic Practice. For the first 4 years, we were a cash-only practice. We now just hired an associate Doctor who is on the insurance panels and I have been trying to market that we now are accepting Insurance. I have sent out a letter to all of our current/past patients announcing this new addition and we have also advertised on the radio and newspaper. We also offer Spinal Decompression Therapy and Deep Tissue Laser therapy, both of which are TOP of the line( and NOT covered by insurance), and we constantly are marketing these services on the radio and newspaper. Here is the thing, we have no problem getting patients in the door, but our retention rate is poor. I just told the doctor's yesterday that I want to start focusing on internal marketing. We have always been so aggressive and focused on external marketing, that we lack in our internal marketing.
So bottom line, I would like to ask for ideas for internal marketing and ideas of places that I can set up talks in our community. I will now be transitioning into a role that is Sales & Marketing and growing this practice will be my sole focus.
