Hearts & Minds Campaign, No Cheap Gimicks, Ideas?

Hello, have a short deadline on this i.e. this evening :-) we are putting in a proposal for trainng on some software for a client who wants to engage in hearts and minds campaign. It's a doc management system. Need some good value add ideas that are not cheap gimicks with no lasting value. Has anyone done, seen, anything which has been low cost but had outstanding value and customer buy in rate. Really appreciate all your help, advice, sitting here scratching my head. Thank you!

    What's the connection between the doc management system and the goal for "hearts and mind"? Why not donate a % of sales to a local non-profit (and co-market with 'em)?

    It's the "low cost" requirement that usually results in cheap gimmicks. Real value generally has a cost attached to it -- time or money, or both. Free lunches are rare.
