Need Critique Of New Website

Posted by Anonymous on 75 Points
We are currently working on redesigning our website and we'll appreciate some external input. We created a very short survey with a link to the proposed architecture (the link is in the body of question 1). https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/JFFQX3T

Please take a look and let us know your thoughts. Thanks in advance!

Hi - I responded to your survey. Ultimately I think your branding on your website needs some work. It's a very old school design. It's not captivating. There is nothing social about it. The first impression is that its just there for the sake of being there. It does not give me a (sorry) "Best of Breed" impression in anyway.

Thanks for the input, very much appreciate the feedback. When you say there is nothing social about it, do you mean that there is no discussion forum or some other interactive call to action such as a poll, survey, etc.? Would you suggest an example of what you think is "best of breed" that we can take a look at for some ideas? I am really trying to understand what is unappealing and not captivating so that we can work on it. Once again, thanks for the input.

When I visit your website, it's not immediately obvious:
... who you're targeting (business type? location? size?)
... what problems you solve of theirs
    ... how you're better/different from your competition

Your testimonial has many typos "...as out business partners..."

Thanks for the comments, Karen and Jay. It really hit us that we are not conveying our business proposition and target audience with the website so far. The challenge we always face is that we have so many different arms of our business which focus on completely different products and services and all of them compete for attention on the home page. We haven't been able to come up with a resolution that gives visibility to all business units while precisely conveying to the audience what we do and what our differentiation is since it is quite different in each segment. If you have any ideas on that, please share.
