Redo Is Not Looking Good

Hi there,

I am redoing my home page to begin with. I am not sure what is going on but it looks bad and I don't know what needs to be done to fix it. I sell handbags and headbands to adults and kids.

Not all the products have been added so if you click on something and it doesn't work I am aware of that but the layout is not effective and I am not sure how to fix it.

    Couple quick thoughts:
    Your main categories aren't listed on the left menu
    Pics are kind of scrambled about
    Number of CSS display issues (virtuemart/joomla is kind of painful to layout I know).
    Rollover images at the top aren't the correct size. Should extend as wide as the grey bars to make them look normal
    Also, not really sure what it is you are actually selling at a glance.
    Perhaps a large central hero image of a great looking product shot, the category shots underneath nicely lined up and a blurb or two for those of us still wondering what the site is all about.
