Business After Hours-how Do We Make It Exciting?

Posted by ormancreative on 125 Points
We are hosting a Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours at our auto dealership. We are looking for ideas on how to make it a successful event, so that poeple want to return to our dealership. We would like to promote individual sales and service as well as fleet sales and service at this event. We are looking for ideas on how to do this. We are allowed to invite anyone, not just chamber members. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Ultimately, a game/contest won't be sufficient to keep your business top-of-mind. Why not offer to pick up people at their homes/office and let them enjoy the ride in your various vehicles. It'll let you prequalify them enroute which is the information you'll need to continue your marketing conversation with them.

Make sure you have a giveaway, with your information on it so it remains visual; make a sign-up sheet so you have contact information to send a "thanks for coming" note; have plenty of food, drink, etc; find channels to promote the event, maybe through social media or through the chamber, I am sure they can put a banner ad on their website; Call you local paper to have it listed in the calendar of upcoming events section.

    Hope some of these work!
