Future Technology

Over a two centuries the technoligical development has ruled the world. In this technological era change is suttle and is unexpected. But, we all know that it doesn't happen in a days time only thing we don't give proper attention to these changes that happen.In the 19th century it was manufacturing companies that ruled the world which was later taken over by oil industry after which today we are the information era where in computers are ruling the world. If changes is what is constant and if every change has evolved over a period of time, Can you please predict what technology or sector or industry is going to be tomorrows ruler?

    RFID technology will replace barcodes within the next five years and will also open up a whole new set of mobile applications in retail, distribution, manafacturing and supply chain. This is just one example of developments in mobile technology. I suspect mobile in general, with higher bandwidth and always-on-connection (3 G), will have a profound impact on the way we use technology in business and our personal life. Your office will be where you are, rather than a building, etc. The idea of calling a building, to talk to a person, will be as unusual as somebody going to a room in their home to listen to the radio, as was the case before we had personal walkmans, radios, MP3 players, etc.
