We've just launched mediareleases.com - a new global service connecting companies with the media and public - allowing companies to build followers of their news.

The media, investors and the public will receive instant alerts when press releases / media releases are posted and can follow specific companies, regions or categories.

Companies will be able to create a profile, post media releases, see the number of impressions each release has received and see who is following their company, receive media requests....and it's FREE.

The site is live now, and our official global media launch will be in the next month.

We're after some effective and innovative suggestions for reaching marketers, PRs and communication professionals.

    Advertise with HARO (Help a Reporter Out). Peter Shankman's newsletter's advertisers get what I see as unprecedented results.

    Create a Facebook Fan page and target PR and media types.

    And yes, go through your website with a sharp eye because the minute someone sees a typo, they'll go elsewhere.
