Investment For New Drapery Website & Branding

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
New Drapery line: semi-custom or made to order. It will meet consumers in between ordering ready made from retailers and hiring a designer for fully custom drapery.

Website will offer sign in and saving their previous selections kinda like a virtual workroom, measurement tools and instructions, several pages for different collections each offering a variety of fabric options, ordering sample swatches, and some add'l products like hardware, pillows. Customers will be able to purchase and submit order online.

I'm in need of a website designer who will assist with branding and optimizing search results, and all facets of using the website as a great marketing tool - I'm completely overwhelmed with all that I do not know in this area and would like to rely on a one-stop shop for all of it in one place. What is an average I should expect to invest for the initial website with the mentioned needs?

Also, should I expect the Webdesigner to know about copyright rules and protect me from inadvertently breaking them in my design or wording of the site?

FYI-The site will function very similarly to drapestyle.com.

Thanks!

Makes sense - I need a team. What do you believe is the average investment if I'm working on a budget for both designing and content writing?
