Created an animated character for a business that you wouldn't expect to have one.

Back in 1991 I created a 3D poster for a one night showing of a 3D version of "Creature From the Black Lagoon" in a museum for an audience of 300 people. Ever prepped artwork for a 3D poster? Neither had I until two days before the job went to press. The printer still jokes with me even now that he was stunned that the process actually worked.

Ad sales promotion for an annual spring newspaper special section aimed at top tier recruitment advertisers:

Mailed small, custom, branded wood boxes to 250 top advertiser prospects. Inside box was a tiny branded terracotta planter with zip lock of soil and seeds all on a bed of recyclable filler. A folded flier read "To grow a great business, you need great people". It was cheesy, but very tactile, interesting and cute. There was great response so the VP asked us to legg out the theme throughout the seasons.

Here's a preview of the (3) fliers from the campaign:

    Annual company picnic invite:

Participation had been down in previous years. Human Resources made the mistake of asking Marketing department to "help," hehe. I got clearance from the park folk to take a photo shoot a month ahead using our lovable security guard, Bart. The photographer snapped away as I had big Bart go down that huge slide half-dozen times in full uniform! THEN, I actually sweet-talked HR staff (Seriously!!) to let me drench them for studio shots, ROFL. The invite was so funny and RSVPs were way up. GET READY FOR THIS: the event rained out!!
