Average Agency Deal Size For Tech Clients

Posted by Markitek on 500 Points
Hoping to get a datapoint here.

Am looking for responses only from ad agencies please.

I'm trying to get a notion of the size of tech client accounts, annually. I'd like to know:

How large (revenue) your agency is
What your average tech client deal size is
How that compares with other industry deal sizes (more, same, less).

Much appreciated.

I cannot imagine that there is a datapoint with the information you are requesting that would be useful in any way. But maybe that's just because I don't understand the real question on your mind.

Maybe if you had a few hundred of these datapoints you could begin to make some sense of this.

It seems easier to me than it does to you Michael to imagine that an ad agency could tell me the average size of their tech deals. They take total tech deal revenue and divide it by number of accounts. Then they write that number down here.

The real question on my mind was exactly the one I asked.

In any event, I really did want only ad agency responses to my question, and not blind analyses of its worth as a question.

numbers from 2007 tech ad agency performance:

How large (revenue) your agency is - 2.3M
What your average tech client deal size is - five clients made up 80% of total revenue with ongoing and integrated project work.
