How To Get The Most From A Conference Sponsorship?

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
We are sponsoring a conference event targeting C-level executives in our target industry. We are sponsoring a turn-down service at night. Attendees will have our info placed in their hotel rooms. We then have a table at breakfast the next morning where we can (hopefully)share dialog with attendees. We want to attract people to stop by the table. These people are very busy and are there for the conference. Has anyone used a good giveaway or theme to attract conference attendees to stop by a table? We figure the giveaway would have to be VERY compelling for these c-level people.

People "sometimes" overdo it at Conferences.

So how about fixing their pain for them.

Hangover kits - chillable eye mask, Alka-Seltser, headache tablets, peppermint tea bags, Berocca, Hairy Lemon, whatever they have to make you feel well, fast, again in your markets. Even a can of Coke - not the diet kind though, full of sugar, they're going to need it. Maybe even a breakfast coupon redeemable at the nearest McDonalds. Everyone knows the therapeutic value of a McMuffin for those feeling temporarily impaired.

All with nice clear instructions for use in large print. Make sure all packaged in easy-to-open QUIET to open packets...

And with your message included in the packaging "Remember who fixed your pain - we can do this for you every day" (workshop this amongst yourselves!)

Even the tee-totallers will find it amusing. Those not on the wagon may find it a lifesaver. And that has to be great way to start a relationship.

There's even proprietary hangover cure tablets. Have a look at https://www.latto.co.uk/hangovercure/science.htm which looks like it should be taken with a tiny grain of salt...
