It's not what you pay for an ad, it's how much it costs
you in lost sales, mixed messages, oversold hype, a lack
of benefits, few ways to contact you, less than great measurability, a lack of tracking, not offering a gift with each purchase. And so on.

This is like asking how much it costs to get dinner. You can eat mac and cheese and it is very inexpensive. Or you can go to a deluxe 5-star restaurant, order the finest wine, have a limo drive you to/from the restaurant and spend thousands of times more than the mac and cheese alternative at the other end of the spectrum.
