We recently opened our site for users - www.slimads.com. While we are seeing increase in traffic , usage of slimads by users is limited .. what suggestions do marketing experts here have for us so we can increase user base and in turn encourage users to start listing with us and use our platform for promoting and selling products and services .

Our platform offers multiple distribution channels for users - social media , mobile , print, TV , word of mouth marketing .. via our tv app, facebook app , qrcode integration, basic analytics , and rich media listings /widgets which optimized for smart phones as well.

    Who are the "users?" Why might they want to use your platform for promoting and selling products and services?

    I'm afraid I don't quite get it. What important benefit are you offering your target audience, and how is that better than whatever they're doing now? Where?

    While I answered the question to a certain extent in another response. Let me elaborate on why might a user want to use slimads.
    Users don't have to upload pictures on flicker and provide links to their postings in Craigslist or other classifieds and listing sites.
    Users don't have to upload videos on YouTube or other video sharing sites and provide links in their postings on Craigslist or other classifieds sites.
    Users don’t have to launch their email programs, perform a copy paste of buyer or seller to initiate a communication with the buyer or seller.
    Users can leverage print media - use the QRCode available in share tab. Print it in sell sheets, in news paper classifieds, or brochures.
    Users can leverage social media - publish the listing from the share tab on to facebook - when the link shared in facebook is clicked users are not taken out of facebook. Our facebook app renders the listing just the way it is on slimads.com site.
    When shared on twitter, when users click the link on their mobile phone, only the listing is loaded with all the relevant information and functionality - text, images, video and functionality to initiate communication. It is optimized for the mobile devices.
    A slimad can serve as a digital business card. Create your slimad, print your qrcode on the back of your card, and control what is visible when the slimad is loaded via QRScan.
    Slimads.com also serves as a marketplace - competition with craigslist and other listings sites but it is also a distribution platform.
    Slimads offers basic analytics and comprehensive analytics in next versions
    SlimAds can be published onto facebook fan pages - appearance is retained.
    Uses of slimads are many: create a product label, sharable mini albums etc...

    We updated the landing page and now the message is CLEAR and LOUD .
